Share Your Work through the Knowledge Bank

The Outreach & Engagement Community in the Knowledge Bank shares the work of scholars and practitioners who involve university and community partners in outreach and engagement work. This community serves as a resource for faculty and staff, but also is a place where you can deposit scholarly material to be shared with others. Donate

Contributions to the University Outreach and Engagement Development Fund increase the amount awarded through Excellence in Engagement grants each year. Every dollar you contribute will be added to the dollars our office earmarks for grants to help faculty, staff, and students expand and enhance their outreach and engagement work and benefit the community. The more donors contribute, the more grants will be awarded! To donate to this fund, go to https://www.giveto.osu.edu/igive/index.asp. In the Special Instructions box, enter the name and fund number: University Outreach and Engagement Development Fund (fund #311197). You can also use this fund number when making a gift through the annual Campus Campaign.

Nominate and Recognize

You can nominate faculty, staff, students, student organizations, or community partners for the annual Awards for Excellence in Community Service and Scholarship and the annual Outreach Scholarship W.K. Kellogg Foundation Engagement Award and C. Peter Magrath Community Engagement Award. Nominations for the community engagement awards are accepted in Autumn Quarter and for the Community Service and Scholarship awards beginning in Winter Quarter.

Send us information about the awards and recognition you and your colleagues receive for their outreach and engagement work. We will feature these awards in our newsletter and the Success Stories section of our website.
