Outreach & Engagement Teams with Wexner Medical Center, Agriculture on Gates Grant Submission
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation wants the worldÕs biggest problems to be solved. Grants they provide to innovative programs help to advance that goal.
Outreach and Engagement collectively worked with Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center and the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences in proposing a demonstration in a Ògame-changingÓ endeavor that would coalesce advanced practical dietary preparation with culturally proven care and intervention as an effective multi-pronged strategy for improving birth outcomes and healthier children.
Moreover, the undertaking would be a unique transinstitutional effort that would have a global impact and can be customized for novel nutritional delivery based on area/country of implementation. This endeavor is envisioned to evolve into additional opportunities.
