Outreach and Engagement Database
Faculty and Staff
Members of the Ohio State community can enter their outreach and engagement projects into the Outreach & Engagement Database and search for colleagues with whom they can build partnerships to maximize their efforts. The database is a subset of OSU:pro, a university-wide database of Ohio State’s expertise.
See the FAQ for information on what should be entered into the database.

Community Connection
With this campus-wide volunteer database (communityconnection.osu.edu),
- Students search for service opportunities, match their interests with community needs, and maintain a record of their service hours and completed training modules
- Faculty manage service-learning courses by tracking their students, finding community partners, and promoting courses to prospective students
- Community agencies link directly to OSU student volunteers, list opportunities, approve student hours, and post emergency needs
