Committees
The Office of University Outreach & Engagement fosters and enables dialogue in the university community related to outreach and engagement and provides opportunities for members of the university community to strengthen their skills in conducting scholarly outreach and engagement. The Steering Committee and Council bring together representatives from the whole campus to provide strategic leadership to this endeavor.
University Outreach and Engagement Steering Committee
Membership: University leadership and the leaders of major outreach and engagement programs
Purpose: To give guidance related to outreach and engagement issues that affect the broad university. To examine issues of partnership related to interdisciplinary engagement.
Outreach and Engagement College/VP Council
Each college and academic support unit has named an outreach and engagement contact. These individuals may hold formal outreach and engagement positions within their college, heading up major initiatives and/or an overall college engagement program. Other individuals may serve as the point person for outreach and engagement, along with other duties within the unit.
Membership: Key outreach and engagement contacts for each college, regional campus, and VP unit
Purpose: To serve as a learning community that enables members to share their work, learn from each other, and support and strengthen their college/unitÕs outreach and engagement work.
